Community Pro TRC400 400 Watts Line Transformer For 70V 100V & 140V Loudspeaker

The TRC400 is a 400 Watt line transformer used to step down the voltage and impedance of "constant voltage" audio distribution lines to the voltage level and impedance required by loudspeakers. It can also be used to step up the voltage of an amplifier to the voltage needed for a distribution line.

The TRC400 has three output taps. The taps allow individual loudspeakers to be adjusted to operate at the same or different power levels compared to other loudspeakers in a system on the distribution line. The input taps on the TRC400 allow it to be used with 70V, 100V, and 140V distribution systems. The output taps of the TRC400 are designed to drive either 8 ohm or 4 ohm loudspeakers. See the Usage Tables for the various capabilities.

The TRC400 is manufactured from high quality materials Its high permeability iron core provides high power handling at low frequencies. The TRC400 has four mounting tabs that allow it to be bolted into back-boxes or other enclosures, to loudspeaker enclosures, or to loudspeaker mounting hardware. The stripped wire input and output leads can be easily connected to loudspeaker terminals and the distribution cable in a variety of ways including terminal strips, soldering, and wire-nuts.

Community offers the PMB Series Pole Mount Bracket Kits for mounting small R-Series and small WET Series loudspeakers to poles and columns. These brackets were designed for use with R.25 and R.5 loudspeakers, but can also be used with Community’s RMG-200A, W2-218, W2-228, W2-2V8 and W2-2W8 loudspeaker models. The PMB-1RR bracket is intended for use with a single loudspeaker with vertical downtilt capability.

Community Pro V2-28WT Dual 8" Compact Loudspeaker

The V2-28 is a two-way, full-range loudspeaker system suitable for use in a wide variety of fixed installations. This versatile unit is ideal for distributed systems such as those found in cafés, restaurants, shopping centers and airports. With its powerful dual cone drivers, the V2-28 provides additional low frequency and midrange output over that of its sister product, the V2-8. When paired with a subwoofer such as the V2-212S, a V2-28 system will produce high-fidelity, broad spectrum sound that belies its modest size. In addition to distributed systems, the V2-28 is an excellent choice for ancillary delay applications. When used to augment a front-of-house system in venues such as auditoria, theaters and houses of worship, delay loudspeakers can significantly even out the difference in sound pressure level from the front of the room to the rear of the room. Units may be positioned for underbalcony fill, overbalcony fill, or simply placed towards the rear of the seating areas.
