Presonus Studio Live 16.0.2 USB 16X2 Performance & Studio Mixer
The ease of analog meets the power of digital.
When you’re mixing a live event or have an artist in the studio, you need to be able to work quickly. The StudioLive® 16.0.2 USB’s familiar, easy-to-use interface keeps all critical controls visible and accessible —not buried in menus or layers. Our design philosophy is simple: One fader for every mono or stereo channel; one output for every bus. Add to that easily accessed, color-coded function buttons; rotary trim controls; and clearly labeled, individual knobs for EQ and dynamics processing. Aux sends have their own physical controls. Every channel has a big, bright meter display. But don’t let the analog feel fool you: The StudioLive 16.0.2 USB offers the power of modern digital mixing, multitrack recording, wireless remote control, and more.
Small size. Bigger possibilities.
In a footprint of less than 2 square feet (0.19 square meters), the compact, 16-channel StudioLive 16.0.2 USB offers 8 mono input channels, 4 stereo channels, and 4 aux buses, each with a high-quality, 60 mm fader. You get generous analog I/O, 12 XMAX Class A solid-state mic preamps, a Talkback input with Class A mic preamp, extensive signal processing with physical controls, MIDI control, accurate metering, and a built-in multichannel recording interface. As with all StudioLive mixers, the 16.0.2 USB comes with a suite of tightly integrated recording, control, and audio analysis software. And it’s so lightweight and compact that you can easily hold it in one hand and tuck it under your arm.
You’ll never run out of signal processors.
StudioLive 16.0.2 USB mixers provide plenty of DSP power, with no limitations, no shared resources, no figuring out what processing is available where. You have all of the processing available at all times, with no compromises or caveats. The unique Fat Channel provides a compressor, limiter, expander, and three-band semi-parametric EQ on every channel and bus; a highpass filter on each channel; phase reverse for the channel mic preamps; a library of professionally crafted presets; and the ability to save and selectively recall processor settings. A stereo, 31-band graphic EQ sits on the main bus. To top it off, you get two 32-bit delay/reverb effects processors, each with its own dedicated mix bus and a library of useful effects presets.
Superior sound.
Connect a StudioLive 16.0.2 USB mixer and you’ll instantly hear details and clarity you’d expect to find only in a much more expensive console. StudioLive mixers operate at up to 48 kHz for high-definition mixing and recording. High-quality Burr-Brown converters on every input and output provide a best-in-class 118 dB of dynamic range so you’ll catch every high and low with great accuracy and no audible distortion. And our XMAX microphone preamps deliver incredibly high headroom, deep lows, smooth highs, and a rich overall sound.
We start with a great microphone preamplifier. The job of a microphone preamplifier in a digital mixer is to boost a microphone-level signal to line level before conversion to the digital domain. A good preamp boosts the level to almost 400 times that of the original signal, making the preamp one of the most important stages in an interface. A cheap, off-the-shelf, op-amp-type mic preamp delivers thin, noisy, harsh results. But with XMAX preamps, the sonic quality is limited only by the microphone you plug into it.
XMAX preamplifiers are built with three key elements:
Class A. Class A circuits have no crossover distortion and deliver purer, clearer, and more musical results than the Class AB designs that are found in many preamps.
High Voltage. The XMAX preamplifier runs on power rails of 30V. Most off-the-shelf, op-amp-based designs run on power rails of 10V to 18V. Higher-voltage power rails deliver more headroom, deeper lows, smoother highs, and a richer overall sound.
Discrete components—not op-amps. We only use genuine transistors, resistors, and capacitors. Op-amps add noise, coloration, and harshness to a signal. Our discrete design delivers ultra-low noise and transparency.
The net result of the XMAX preamp design is high headroom, low noise, wide dynamic range, extended frequency response, and—most important—musicality and transparency.
Recording is in StudioLive 16.0.2 USB’s DNA.
The StudioLive 16.0.2 USB’s built-in 18x16 multitrack recording interface is tightly integrated with the rest of the mixer—not an afterthought we tacked on. All 16 channels and the main mix continuously stream to your USB-connected Mac or Windows PC. Each channel can independently access its analog input or its dedicated digital return from your computer. And with StudioLive mixers, recording is simple and easy: Just launch the included, preconfigured Capture® software for one-click recording of all channel inputs and your main mix. Or record with the included Studio One® Artist DAW—or any recording software that supports ASIO or Core Audio. Now you can record in the studio or at the gig with equal ease.
Integrated, multiplatform software for flexible control and one-click recording.
Like all PreSonus StudioLive mixers, the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB is tightly integrated with an entire suite of state-of-the-art software. Mix wirelessly or over a wired network from anywhere using UC Surface touch-control software for macOS®, Windows®, Android™, and iPadOS®. Control individual monitor mixes onstage with QMix®-UC for iPhone®/iPod® touch and Android. Automate virtual soundchecks and record shows with Capture for Mac and Windows. Edit, sweeten, and digitally release your recordings with Studio One Artist. StudioLive 16.0.2 USB mixers and software work together to form a cohesive ecosystem that helps you achieve your creative vision.
Dedicated analog connections for predictable signal flow.
Take a look at back panel of a StudioLive 16.0.2 USB mixer, and you’ll find the robust connections you’d expect from an analog mixer: balanced mic inputs on each of the 8 mono channels; 8 balanced ¼-inch line inputs; 4 unbalanced RCA line inputs; and dedicated balanced outputs for each of the 4 aux buses and the main stereo bus. Every input channel and bus send has its own dedicated jack—no sharing, no compromises—so you always know what’s flowing from each output.
Add excitement to performances with MIDI control.
Being able to control the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB from an iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, or Android device is cool—unless your hands are busy playing your instrument. That’s why the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB offers MIDI In and Out. Use a MIDI footpedal or DAW to recall scenes using MIDI Program Changes, control the main output volume and effects level, mute effects between songs, switch from lots of reverb to a little bit of delay, and change the mix for a solo. You can even automate these features with a DAW! It’s a great way to make your performances more exciting and varied, even if you don’t have a separate soundperson.
Better mixing with StudioLive family values.
It's easy to love this portable powerhouse. To learn more, visit the Media tab on the upper section of this page and watch our StudioLive 16.0.2 USB videos. Better yet, try a StudioLive 16.0.2 USB at your nearest PreSonus dealer. You’ll see what we mean about intuitive ease-of-use. You’ll hear what we mean about Class A preamps, rich DSP effects, and overall sound quality. And you'll come to believe in StudioLive family values.
Apple Silicon, iOS, and iPadOS compatibility—standard.
The PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 is natively compatible with Apple Silicon-based Mac computers*, as well as iOS and iPadOS devices, including iPad Pro, iPad, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iPod Touch, and iPhone. Because it's USB class-compliant, there are no special drivers or applications to download and install. Presonus Earmix 16M 16 Channel AVB Networked Personal Monitor Mixer
Ships Free!
Professional, networked personal monitoring.
The PreSonus EarMix 16M is an advanced 16-channel personal monitor mixer designed to provide a high-quality, expandable, networked monitoring solution for stage, installed sound systems, and studio recording. We gave the EarMix 16M professional sound quality, easy-to-use mixing features, and a high-performance headphone amplifier, to ensure you have the monitoring tools you need for any situation.
Your mix, your way.
Personal monitoring should be just that: personalized for whoever is listening. The EarMix 16M provides each channel with a 3-Band EQ and a limiter. This processing is also available for the main bus, allowing each musician to sculpt a mix that works best for them. Channels can be easily grouped, simplifying complex mixes. Once you’ve perfected your monitor mix, save the whole scene to internal memory; you can store and recall up to 16 mix scenes locally.
Loud and clear.
High-quality monitoring is crucial for artists to deliver their best performance, so we’ve given the EarMix 16M personal monitor mixer a loud, clear headphone amplifier that can drive low-impedance devices such as professional-caliber in-ear-monitors. We started with a top of the line digital-to-analog converter for wide dynamic range and low signal-to-noise ratio. We took special care in the amplifier design to deliver excellent sonic performance, whether you’re using custom-molded in-ears or your favorite pair of studio headphones.
PoE: Remote power for networked devices.
The EarMix 16M can be powered with its included external power supply or over the same Ethernet connection that’s used for AVB network audio, thanks to Power over Ethernet (PoE). With PoE, a single cable delivers both digital audio and electrical power. This allows you to put your EarMix 16M personal monitor mixer anywhere you need it. While compatible with any AVB switch that provides PoE, PreSonus’ SW5E five-port AVB switch enables you to connect multiple EarMix 16Ms to the AVB network and provides PoE.
Uniquely versatile personal monitoring.
For StudioLive Series III digital mixing systems, the EarMix 16M is a natural fit that adds personal monitor mixers wherever you need them, be it on stage, in the studio, or in the broadcast booth. When combined with the StudioLive 16R, the EarMix 16M becomes a complete personal monitoring solution that can be added to any mixing system. Simply connect the outputs of your installed mixer to the StudioLive 16R and route them to your EarMix 16M personal monitoring mixers over AVB. The StudioLive 16R lets you add independent reverb, compression and more to your monitoring system. Need more than 16 inputs? Combine the EarMix 16M with a StudioLive 24R or StudioLive 32R and now you can create independent buses that can be routed to each EarMix 16M on the network.
A complete networked solution.
The StudioLive Series III ecosystem of networked products are at the forefront of AVB networking technology. Designed to complement each other, the ecosystem is easily expanded and quickly configured. The EarMix 16M adds simple personal monitoring that can be located anywhere on the network. Whether used within a complete StudioLive Series III system, or employed as a standalone personal monitoring system, the EarMix 16M delivers powerful personal monitoring features with an intuitive workflow.

Once you start using the Session Navigator, you’ll wonder how you mixed without it.
Universal compatibility. Integrated with Ableton Live.
While compatible with most third-party software, FaderPort 16 offers deeper integration with Ableton Live (version 10.1.5 and later). FaderPort 16’s streamlined workflow and support for the Mackie Control and HUI protocols also make it fast and easy to control Logic Pro X, Cubase, Pro Tools, and more. No driver installation is necessary; just plug the control surface into a USB port and take command of your mix.

Presonus StudioLive 32SX Compact 32 Ch 22 Buss Digital Console Mixer Recorder plus Software
Full Software Suite Included plus 3 year warranty!
Power meets efficiency.
Loaded with the processing power, studio-grade audio quality, and flexible routing options that made StudioLive® mixers famous, the StudioLive 32SX is the perfect compact, 32-channel digital mixing solution. Powered by the dual-core PreSonus® FLEX DSP Engine, the StudioLive 32SX digital mixer is equipped with 40 mixing channels, 26 mix buses, and 286 simultaneous processors, including 4 stereo reverberation systems, and Fat Channel plug-in models on every input and mix. The low profile of the StudioLive 32SX makes it an ideal solution for any mixing environment where desk real estate is at a premium. The split-fader workflow lets you manage 32 input channels in two fader layers, while still providing access to your mix outputs on eight additional faders. With 32 XMAX mic preamps and 16 balanced mix outputs, the StudioLive 32SX packs connectivity and power into an efficient use of space.
The scalable digital mixer.
The StudioLive 32SX digital mixer and the complete PreSonus StudioLive Series III ecosystem of AVB networking products allow you to create a system that is truly customized for your needs. Add EarMix 16M personal monitor mixers to give your musicians their own customizable 16-channel monitor mixes. Connect a StudioLive 32R to use as a remote stage box or monitor mixer. Multiple StudioLive Series III digital mixers can be networked, allowing you to route audio to and from any device on the audio network, thanks to the flexibility of Digital Patching onboard your StudioLive 32SX digital mixer and in UC Surface remote mixer software.
Superior sound.
We built our reputation designing great-sounding analog circuits for critical studio-recording environments, and we put all of that experience into designing the StudioLive 32SX digital mixer. In 1995, PreSonus patented digital control over analog circuits with our first studio product. Building on this legacy, we created a separate digital volume-control circuit ahead of our lauded analog XMAX mic preamp design, providing the convenience of digital recall without sacrificing fidelity. This allows the StudioLive 32SX mic preamps to be remote-controlled with UC Surface software or Studio One®, and when you load a StudioLive 32SX mixer scene, the mic preamp trim values can also be recalled along with the other settings.
Record music with or without a computer.
PreSonus Capture® recording software is an intuitive multitrack recording application with a fully integrated Virtual Soundcheck mode that runs directly on your StudioLive 32SX digital mixer or on your Mac® or Windows® computer. Record all 32 channels plus a stereo mix of your choosing via USB, to an SD Card, or both for the ultimate redundant live-recording rig. StudioLive mix scenes can be stored with your recordings to speed up virtual soundchecks. Best of all, Capture sessions open natively in Studio One with the entire StudioLive mix scene re-created in the Studio One console, complete with fader levels, Fat Channel settings, mutes, solos, and more. No other multitrack software makes recording as fast, simple and hassle-free so you can focus on mixing the show.
The best music recording software… included.
Studio One revolutionized music recording, making common mixing and production tasks as easy as drag-and-drop. Tight integration with StudioLive 32SX digital mixers allows you to control preamp levels and more directly from the Studio One software console. Press the DAW button on your StudioLive 32SX, and your Studio One controls are right under your fingertips on your digital mixer. Studio One control can be toggled on and off, allowing you to quickly switch between your live mix and your production mix with the press of a button. Studio One Artist is included with the StudioLive 32SX, so you can start recording right out of the box.
Remote control your digital mixer from anywhere—on any device.
PreSonus StudioLive Series III digital mixers are tightly integrated with an entire suite of state-of-the-art software. Mix wirelessly using UC Surface touch-control software for macOS®, Windows®, iPadOS® and Android™. Control your monitor mixes with QMix®-UC for iPhone®, iPod® touch, and Android devices. Whether you’re adjusting monitor mixes on stage, moving around the room to dial in your mix, or using your mobile device as a second screen for your StudioLive 32SX digital mixer, remotely controlling your mix from anywhere just got easier.
Flexible mixing for studio and stage.
The StudioLive 32SX was designed to fit well in any application. Its 16 FlexMixes can be individually configured to function as an aux bus, a subgroup, or a matrix mix. Four designated effects buses provide a total of 24 mix buses plus an independent solo bus and the main mix. We also provided 24 DCAs so you can more easily and flexibly control groups of channels. Inputs and buses can be freely routed internally, out to your AVB network, and over the USB bus, allowing you to customize your StudioLive 32SX for your unique mixing style.
The best USB audio interface for mixing.
With 128 (64x64) channels of recording over USB, you can record every input channel and bus on your StudioLive 32SX for the ultimate recording rig. Each channel can independently access its analog input or its dedicated digital return from your computer. Six preinstalled vintage EQ and classic compressor Fat Channel plug-in models can be used onboard your mixer as well as within Studio One. And you also get Fat Channel Collection Vol. 1, which includes 15 additional vintage-modeled EQs and compressors—a $149 (USD) value if purchased separately. Fat Channel plug-ins can be inserted on every input channel and output bus, giving you extensive, studio-style processing while mixing and recording.
A complete networked solution.
StudioLive Series III networked products form an ecosystem that is easily expanded and quickly configured. Designed to enhance each other, these products are at the forefront of AVB networking technology. Connect to StudioLive Series III rack mixers and add a dedicated monitor mixer. Route audio to EarMix 16M personal monitor mixers for customized mixes on stage. With powerful plug-in processing, advanced recording features, and a full complement of analog I/O in a compact chassis, the StudioLive 32SX is an ideal centerpiece for sound systems of any size.
Apple Silicon, iOS, and iPadOS compatibility—standard.
The PreSonus StudioLive 32SX is natively compatible with Apple Silicon-based Mac computers*, as well as iOS and iPadOS devices, including iPad Pro, iPad, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iPod Touch, and iPhone. Because it's USB class-compliant, there are no special drivers or applications to download and install. You'll be able to produce on the go—everything from podcasts to folk rock to trap—wherever sound takes you.
Make your own magic.
At PreSonus, we want to make sure that our audio products come with everything you need to craft your own mesmerizing spells in the studio. That's why we include Studio One Artist with every audio interface and controller product we make, from the 2-channel AudioBox USB 96 to the 64-channel StudioLive 64S, ATOM to FaderPort 16, but we didn't stop there. Why? Because here in Louisiana, we have a word: lagniappe. It means "a little something extra," and it's in that spirit that we also include the Studio Magic Suite of software with our audio interface products and–new for 2021–our award-winning controllers as well.

PreSonus designed the StudioLive 64S digital mixer to adapt to your changing needs, whether you’re mixing in the studio or on a busy festival stage. Its 32 FlexMixes can be individually configured to function as an aux bus, a subgroup, or a matrix mix. Eight designated effects buses plus stereo and mono main buses make a total of 43 mix buses in addition to an independent solo bus. We also provided 24 DCAs so you can more easily and flexibly control groups of channels. The independent Main Mono bus can be configured with individual channel sends to feed a subwoofer or as the center channel in an LCR system, complete with a Center Divergence control on each channel to more precisely place your pan positions.
Reconfigure your mix without unplugging a cable.
StudioLive Series III digital mixers incorporate the concept of an analog patchbay and digitize it. This lets you patch any analog input or digital return (AVB, USB, or SD Card) to any channel to customize your mix configuration. This flexible feature also allows you to freely route audio to your AVB network and record any of the inputs and FlexMixes on the 64 USB sends. Digital Patching also makes it easy to quickly route to and source from your AVB audio network when using the StudioLive 64S as part of a complete networked audio system.

Flexible mixing without limits.
PreSonus designed the StudioLive 32S digital mixer to adapt with your changing needs, whether you’re mixing in the studio or on a busy festival stage. The 16 FlexMixes on the StudioLive 32S digital mixer can be individually configured to function as an aux bus, a subgroup, or a matrix mix. Four designated effects buses provide a total of 24 mix buses plus an independent solo bus and the main mix. We also provided 24 DCAs so you can more easily and flexibly control groups of channels. No other digital mixer provides this much flexibility.
Reconfigure your mix without unplugging a cable.
StudioLive Series III digital mixers incorporate the concept of an analog patchbay and digitize it. This lets you customize your mix configuration by patching any analog input or digital return (AVB, USB, or SD Card) to any channel you like. This flexible feature also allows you to freely route audio to your AVB network and record any of the inputs and FlexMixes on the 64 USB sends. Digital Patching also makes it easy to quickly route to and source from your AVB audio network when using the StudioLive 32S as part of a complete networked audio system. And with a fader for all 32 channels, plus 8 additional faders to manage your bus outputs, you always have total control of your entire mix.
The ultimate USB audio interface and control surface.
With 128 (64x64) channels of recording over USB, the StudioLive 32S is not just the best digital mixer for live sound recording; it’s the best digital mixer for the studio, as well. Each channel can independently access its analog input or its dedicated digital return from your computer. While the StudioLive 32S is compatible with any DAW, Studio One and the StudioLive 32S are the perfect pair to elevate your studio recording environment. Remote control your StudioLive 32S digital mixer’s recallable XMAX mic preamps and Fat Channel processing from Studio One Artist. Press the DAW button on your StudioLive 32S digital mixer and use the 33 touch-sensitive motorized faders to control your Studio One mix. Seamless integration and thoughtful bidirectional control with Studio One make the StudioLive 32S the best mixing console for the modern recording studio.
World-class recording software included.
PreSonus Studio One® Artist DAW is included with the StudioLive 32S. Studio One seamlessly combines the time-tested and proven recording studio model with today’s beat- and loop-oriented production process so you can spend your precious time creating music instead of wondering what to click next.
Remote control your digital mixer from anywhere… on any device.
PreSonus StudioLive Series III digital mixers are tightly integrated with an entire suite of state-of-the-art software. Mix wirelessly using UC Surface touch-control software for macOS®, Windows, iPad® and Android™. Control your monitor mixes with QMix®-UC for iPhone®, iPod® touch, and Android devices. Whether you’re adjusting monitor mixes on stage, moving around the room to dial in your mix, or using your mobile device as a second screen for your StudioLive 32S digital mixer, remote controlling your mix from anywhere just got easier.
A complete networked solution.
The StudioLive 32S is the flexible cornerstone for a custom AVB network that is easily expanded and quickly configured. Designed to complement each other, StudioLive Series III networked products form an ecosystem that is at the forefront of AVB networking technology. Route audio to EarMix 16M personal monitor mixers. Presonus Studio Live 16R 18 input 16 Channel Stage Box 7 Rack Mixer
3yr Warranty
One rack space to rule them all.
The StudioLive® 16R digital mixer is four audio tools in a single rackspace. Use it as a standalone digital mixer with UC Surface remote mixing software. Pair it with your StudioLive Series III console mixer to use as a stage box or integrated monitor mixer. Connect it with EarMix 16M monitor mixers for the ultimate personal monitor system. Plug it into your studio computer, and you have a continuously bidirectional, 36-channel (18x18) USB audio interface with modeled vintage dynamics and EQ plug-ins on every input and bus. Whether used standalone or as part of a complete audio system, no other rackmount digital mixer is as flexible or as powerful.
The best 16-channel digital mixer for your rack.
Inside the StudioLive 16R, the single-core PreSonus® FLEX DSP Engine powers 18 mixing channels, 10 mix buses, and 130 simultaneous processors, including 2 stereo reverberation systems and Fat Channel plug-in models on every input channel and mix bus. This is a true 16-channel digital mixer that can comfortably fit in any size rig. Simply connect it to a standard wireless router and control every mix parameter from your iPad®, Android™ tablet, or Windows® Touch computer, using UC Surface. UC Surface was designed to make mixing on a touch screen as intuitive as mixing on faders but with the benefit of allowing you to mix front-of-house from anywhere in the venue.
An integrated monitor mixer.
Professional venues and touring acts know that having a dedicated monitor mixer is the best way to ensure musicians can hear themselves clearly on stage. When connected to a StudioLive Series III console mixer, the StudioLive 16R provides remote inputs and main outputs while simultaneously retaining full control over its FlexMixes, so you can create up to six monitor mixes complete with independent gate, compression, EQ, and effects on every channel and bus.
The perfect personal monitoring system.
Modern musicians sometimes want more than just remote control: They want total control. When combined with up to 16 EarMix 16M personal monitor mixers, the StudioLive 16R is the most powerful personal monitoring hub available. With 6 FlexMix buses that can be configured as aux mixes, subgroups, or matrix mixes, the StudioLive 16R makes it easy to create simplified mixes for some EarMix 16M personal monitor mixers, while giving other EarMix 16Ms on the same network access to all 16 channels. Two dedicated effects buses let you add reverb and delay and let the musicians control the blend from stage. No other personal monitoring system offers so much powerful processing with flexible, easy-to-use routing features.
The digital stage box.
As a digital stage box for StudioLive Series III console mixers, the StudioLive 16R provides 16 remote digitally controlled XMAX preamps that can be gain-staged right from your StudioLive Series III console Fat Channel. The outputs of the StudioLive 16R automatically mirror the mixes available on your console mixer, making routing fast and easy. Best of all, when you need a rackmount mixer for a small mobile gig, simply disable Stage Box mode, and you have a full-featured, 16-channel digital mixer that fits into a single rackspace.
The USB audio interface with vintage sounds.
Recording engineers searching for a USB audio interface with near-zero latency monitor mixing, integrated plug-in models, and recallable mic preamps need look no further than the StudioLive 16R. An integrated 36-channel (18x18) audio interface lets you record with a complete rack of vintage EQ and dynamics processors for every channel and bus. You get 6 models preinstalled, plus the additional 15 models from the Fat Channel Collection Vol. 1—a $149 (USD) value if purchased separately.
Modeled after classic analog studio designs, these compressor and EQ plug-ins load both natively on the StudioLive 16R and inside Studio One®, providing the ultimate mixing and recording flexibility. Like every PreSonus interface, the StudioLive 16R is ready to record right out of the box with Studio One Artist or Capture®—both of which are included. You also get Ableton® Live Lite.
A complete networked solution.
StudioLive Series III networked products form an ecosystem that is easily expanded and quickly configured. Designed to enhance each other, these products are at the forefront of AVB networking technology. The StudioLive 16R combines the powerful processing for which StudioLive Series III mixers are known, with flexible modes to pair perfectly with console mixers and EarMix 16M personal monitoring mixers. Whether used standalone as a digital mixer and audio interface, or utilized with other StudioLive Series III ecosystem products, the StudioLive 16R combines flexibility with DSP power to become the ultimate compact audio solution.
Apple Silicon, iOS, and iPadOS compatibility—standard.
The PreSonus StudioLive 16R is natively compatible with Apple Silicon-based Mac computers*, as well as iOS and iPadOS devices, including iPad Pro, iPad, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iPod Touch, and iPhone. Because it's USB class-compliant, there are no special drivers or applications to download and install. You'll be able to produce on the go—everything from podcasts to folk rock to trap—wherever sound takes you.
Three year warranty—for all Series III and III S mixers

Allen & Heath AH-ZED428 24 Ch USB Stereo Digital Mixer
4 Bus Mixer for Live Sound and Recording
ZED-428
ZED-428 is excellent for bands, houses of worship, theatres or AV applications. It has a truly professional feature set, which will fit any sound reinforcement application or professional PA hire stock. ZED-428 has configurable USB audio in/out, making it easy to capture stereo recordings, plus 24 mic/line inputs, 2 dual stereo inputs, 4-band EQ with MusiQ, 4 sub-groups, 6 auxiliary sends and a 7×2 matrix.
USB AUDIO FLEXIBILITY
Getting audio to and from a computer easily is now a common requirement for live sound and music production. The way this has been implemented on ZED is super-flexible and super-easy! No longer do you need to fiddle around the back of your PC to get to the soundcard inputs, only to find that the levels are all wrong and noisy. Just plug in a USB lead to your ZED, select the USB routing on the mixer and the device on your computer and that’s it! CD quality audio to and from your PC or Mac. Switches and connection through jack socket terminals provide different send/return configurations:-
SEND OPTIONS
1) Main Mix Left + Right (Post-fade)
2) Main Mix Left + Right (Pre-Fade)
3) Auxes 1-2
4) Auxes 5-6
5) Matrix 1-2.
RETURN OPTIONS
1) To Playback input
2) To Stereo 3 channel
MUSIQ
ZED-428 has a tuned 4-band EQ taken from the acclaimed GL2200 mixer, utilising MusiQ – with optimised slope (or Q factor) for equalising individual instruments.
DUOPRE
Based on the proven pre-amps from the hugely successful PA series, ZED-428 has DuoPre pre-amps, which use a two stage design, with carefully controlled amounts of gain in each stage. When amplifying the signal from the XLR input, the gain range is huge – 69dB of range to be exact – and is very evenly distributed around the gain control, meaning better control of signal level. Most of the gain comes from the first stage, so unwanted noise is kept to a minimum. Line level signals are simply plugged into the second stage of the pre-amp by using the line input jack socket, which has the great advantage of less noise when using the line input and also matching to a higher input impedance.
Features:
24 mono channels
2 dual stereo inputs with 4-band EQ
Neutrik mic XLR
Neutrik 1/4 inch jacks
Channel insert
Super wide gain ‘DuoPre’ mic line input
4-band EQ with 2 swept mids and in/out switch
