dB Technologies SUB 612 600W RMS Class D Subwoofer Power Amplifier 

BTechnologies releases SUB612 to complete SUB 600 active subwoofer family. The new model aims to create complete PA system making the most of dBTechnologies’ smaller full-range systems such as OPERA 10 and B-H 8 and 10.

Just like 15” and 18” models of the family, bass-reflex SUB 612 features a 600W RMS Class-D Power Amplifier with SMPS, delivers outstanding sound pressure levels (up to 129 dB) in spite of a very compact housing (only 19.8 Kg -43,65 lbs) and provides an impressively precise low-end reproduction.

Sub 600s’ remarkable audio performance allows user to build most of the PA systems with 1 single sub and 2 full range speakers, avoiding any external processing or crossover thanks to separate balanced X-Over signal feeds to left and right speakers.

Controls on the amp panel allow user to operate with Mono or Stereo audio feed, activate polarity inversion and choose Outputs link mode (True Bypass or X-Over).  Whenever a further punch is needed, a low-frequencies boost EQ can be set thanks to the Sub BOOST Mode switch.

The most advanced incarnation of a string of successful line array systems that started with the DVA T4 and enhanced with DVA T12. Hard to believe that something so petite succeded in packing such a mighty punch.

DVA T8 is a 3-way module equipped with a 8” bass reflex neodymium woofer, 1 horn loaded 6.5” midrange with a 2” voice coil and phase plug device, and two 1”drivers with constant directivity horn. These components have been optimally arranged to obtain a uniform 100° by  15° coverage per module. DVA T8 features a Class D 700 W RMS Digipro G2 digital amplifier and is capable to reach up to 132 dB SPL.

The system is  equipped with a RDNET port which allows the system to be controlled and monitored remotely in real-time through the use of dBTechnologies Network control software.

Thanks to a rotary on the module’s rear panel, it is possible to select one among 9 different preset options plus a personal setting which can be saved. 

This way,  users adapt the module’s frequency response to aiming distance and to coupling with other modules within the same array, thus optimizing the sound in a consistent and balanced way, without the use of any external processors.

The module’s electronics and components are housed in a sturdy polypropylene box, reinforced with an internal anti-vibration metal structure which drastically reduces any resonance, allowing the cabinet to achieve an excellent acoustic response.

The reinforced polypropylene box, the selected components and a state of the art amplifying technology come together to deliver an exceptional weight-performance ratio: in facts, each module of DVA T8 weights a mere 14,2 kg (31,3 lbs).

The unique feature of the DVA T series is the mechanical and acoustic compatibility between line array modules of the same family. This feature guarantees a great versatility in terms of both using and configuring the products.

FMX is an active 2-way coaxial stage monitor series encompassing 3 models (10,12 and 15”) equipped with 400 RMS (for FMX 10) or 600 RMS (for FMX 12 and 15) Class D amplifiers. 

The wedge’s coaxial acoustic design, together with its custom horn design and its advanced DSP featuring linear phase FIR filters, provides an even, highly-intelligible sound.

Thanks to infrared technology, INGENIA detects the presence of a second speaker, and an onboard-configuration wizard automatically sets up the system in order to ensure the best coverage and acoustic coherence.

INGENIA’s horn design is horizontally symmetric and vertically asymmetric- this way, horizontal dispersion is wide and constant while vertical dispersion is narrow in the upper part and wider in the lower part. Thanks to such feature, when 2 Ingenias are coupled high frequencies add up avoiding any interferences. In addition to that, a sophisticated digital steering function process each way of the speaker in order to adjust the dispersion without moving the box. As a result, the whole audience enjoys a perfect intelligibility.

Users can easily control the system through an intuitive OLED display. In fact, behind the simple interface runs a cutting-edge processing which manages mix, coverage steering, EQs levels and input devices.

INGENIA can be easily and safely coupled through a LP-IG accessory which fits all the 4 INGENIA models. Moreover, feet and recessions on the top and the bottom of the enclosure ensure the speakers to be perfectly aligned, avoiding any incorrect setup operation.

Ingenia DRK-IG fly bar adapts to all the speakers of the series allowing to fly coupled speakers in a vertical array.
