Soundcraft FX16II Compact Digital/Analog Mixer 16 Mono Microphone Channel
In 1997 Soundcraft launched the Spirit FX16 which immediately became popular with its 16 direct outputs and built-in effects unit in wide ranging applications. 10 years later Soundcraft has given the FX16 an overhaul bringing it in line with the Soundcraft Professional range using the latest 24-bit, digital Lexicon® effects processor and creating the Soundcraft FX16ii™.
The Soundcraft FX16ii mixer uses the same AudioDNA® processor featured in many of the Digitech® and Lexicon outboard equipment including the highly respected Lexicon MX400 processor. With over 35 years experience, the Lexicon name is synonymous with the best reverb and processing in the business, ensuring the finest quality effects not usually found in a console at this price level.
The Soundcraft FX16ii offers a combination of powerful live and recording features; each channel has a Direct Output which is individually switch-able pre or post fader to enable use with 16-track recording systems. The Lexicon effects work just as well in the live as well as the recording environment with a tap tempo function, 3 parameter controls, user effects settings store ability, effects clip LED and 32 powerful and editable effects to choose from.
The use of the latest PCB surface mount technology means that the Soundcraft FX16ii fits all of these features into a rugged, compact frame which can be optionally rack-mounted into a 10U space via Soundcraft FX16ii's rotating connector pod which allows cables to be connected conveniently behind the rack and save rack space.

Inputs and Outputs
Other standard features of the LX7II include frame sizes up to 32 mono inputs and four stereo inputs/returns with four groups, main stereo output and a dedicated mono output for centre clusters. There are direct outputs on the first 16 inputs suitable for multitrack recording, and six auxes for flexibility, effects and foldback. 3G SDI CARD
The 3G SDI card can de-embed up to 16 audio channels from an SDI (Serial Digital Interface) stream, and re-embed them (Embedder/ DeEmbedder card only) back on to the stream for onward transmission in a broadcast environment, saving high costs of external units and, of course, weight. These channels may be patched in to any input as usual.

The ADAT card provides two optical eight-channel ADAT inputs and outputs, with 48 kHz operation. Optical inputs and outputs are provided on Toslink connectors and can be used to record to, for example, an Alesis HD-24 hard disk recorder or other device with ADAT inputs and outputs, and receive playback audio.

A-NET CARD
The Soundcraft A-NET® 16V card provides direct digital connection on a single Cat5e cable from the Aux or Group outputs into an Aviom® A-NET® Pro16TM Series Personal Mixer (compatible with A-16II and A360).
The Pro16 System enables musicians on stage to be fed with up to 16 subgroups of instruments or vocals which they can then mix to their own taste using their own on-stage controller. The card includes a switchable test tone and stereo pair linking via DIP switches.

BLU LINK CARD
The BLU Link card provides up to 32 inputs and 32 outputs to/from a BSS Blu Link ring, and can be used to interface to BSS London networked audio systems, or to the PMC Personal Monitoring Controller.
The Blu Link redundant ring allows for up to 256 channels, so the Vi Blu Link card contains internal DIP switches that allow a block of 32 sequential channels from the 256 to be addressed by the card, separately selectable for inputs and outputs.
In addition the card can be set as clock host or clock client, according to system requirements. When acting as a client a jumper cable (included) must be connected from the card’s wordclock out to the consoles wordclock input.

DANTE CARD
The Dante card allows 64 channels to be sent to/received from a Dante network. As well as providing audio exchange with other Dante-enabled equipment, the card also allows 64 channels of audio to be connected directly to a PC or Mac computer for recording or processing, by using a standard Ethernet connection*.
Routing and setup of the network is done using an external computer running Dante Controller software (available FOC from the Audinate website).
A BNC sync output connector on the card allows the console’s wordclock input to be driven by the network clock, if required by the clocking setup.
*Requires Dante Virtual Soundcard software to be installed on the computer — one licence token supplied with each card.

Rocknet™ Card
The Riedel Rocknet card allows up to 64 channels of audio (64 inputs/32 outputs) to be connected to a Riedel Rocknet network comprising up to 160 channels. The system allows connection of multiple Riedel stageboxes in a redundant ring configuration, and remote control of the Rocknet preamps is possible from the Vi or Si console. Multiple consoles can share the same I/O boxes and there is built-in gain-stabilisation for client consoles.
This card is only available from Riedel’s distribution network.

MADI Cat 5 CARD
Two types of MADI card are available, both offering 64 channels of audio on dual redundant cables. The Cat 5 version offers cost-effective connections to a Soundcraft Stagebox using Cat 5 cable terminated in robust Ethercon connectors. Distances of up to 120m are possible using approved Cat 5 cables (see list below).

MADI Optical CARD
The optical MADI card provides the same functionality as the Cat 5 version but on industry- standard SC fibre connectors. Two duplex SC connectors allow dual redundant cabling with automatic switchover. Connection distances of up to 1500m are possible using the standard multimode card, but a version with single-mode optical transceivers is also available allowing distances of up to 10km.

The emphasis with the Soundcraft EPM is very firmly on quality build and audio performance, with an easy to understand control surface uncluttered by unnecessary facilities, and Soundcraft have brought new technologies and ideas to this very cost-effective range. Surface mount technology is used throughout, using close-tolerance components for high accuracy and repeatable settings for EQ and gain controls. The highly-transparent GB30 Mic amp (designed by Graham Blyth for the company’s 30th anniversary, and also used on the larger LX7ii and GB Series consoles) features high-resolution adjustment over a wide gain range of 55dB, and provides a stunning +22dB headroom through the console. True professional 48-volt phantom power caters for condenser microphones of all types.
A unique feature of the signal monitoring is the PEAK led. This uses multipoint signal take-offs to watch for overload in several parts of the channel strip, and the led lights more brightly as the signal approaches the peak point. For smooth and accurate channel control, the EPM has 60mm high quality faders as used on other Soundcraft desks. The monitor output and headphone output work in parallel so that performers can still listen on phones while an engineer is listening on studio monitors.

The Ui Series mixers feature cross-platform compatibility with iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS, and Linux devices, and can use up to 10 control devices simultaneously. In addition, the Ui12 and Ui16 each feature built-in HARMAN signal processing from dbx, DigiTech and Lexicon, including dbx AFS2, DigiTech Amp Modeling, and more. Both models feature fully recallable and remote-controlled mic gain and phantom power, along with 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, compressor, de-esser and noise gate on input channels.

Soundcraft MINI STAGEBOX 32R 32 Channel Mixing Console with MADI Card
The new Mini Stagebox range from Harman's Soundcraft provides a simple solution to stage connectivity offering a lower-cost option for many systems where the modularity and configurability of the larger systems are not required.
The Mini Stagebox 32R (3U) provides 32 analogue inputs and 8 analogue line outputs, with 4 pairs of AES outputs, providing a total I/O capacity of 32 inputs and 16 output.
They connect to any of the Soundcraft Si Expression, Si Compact, Si Performer, Si Series and Vi Series consoles via a MADI card fitted to the option card slot.
The Mini Stagebox models contain an integral PSU so are completely self-contained and sit comfortably stage-side.
The new units are part of the ViSi Connect range of interface options for all Soundcraft mixing consoles which includes the Compact and Vi Stageboxes and a range of option cards such as MADI, AES, CobraNet and AES.
Both models are supplied with the stagebox card installed, plus the corresponding card for an Si series console (Vi console MADI cards sold separately)

Soundcraft 5035677 SI Expression Series 20 Channel Digital Mixer
Drawing on more than a decade of experience in the field of digital audio mixing, the Soundcraft® Si Expression exploits some of the newest DSP, component technology and manufacturing techniques to deliver our most powerful cost effective digital console ever! Each console in the range is identical in its feature set so your only choice is how many faders and local mic amps you want. With a range covering the super portable 19" rack mount Expression 1 to the mighty Si Expression 3 with its 30+2 faders and 32 mic/line inputs there is a model to meet all needs.
Taking the Si Expression 2 as a typical example, it features 24 recallable mic pre amps (32 on Si Expression 3 and 16 on Si Expression 1) plus 4 line inputs, 4 internal stereo FX returns, AES in, and a 64x64 expansion slot offering more than enough scope to use every one of the 66 input processing channels. Every input processing channel has dedicated processing for high pass filter, input delay, gate, compressor and four band EQ whilst keeping it under control is a comprehensive automation system augmented with four mute groups and FaderGlow™ to light the way so you are never lost.
All Si Expression consoles have busses, output processing and connectivity to match the versatility of the inputs; the 14 aux/group mixes can be configured as 14 mono mixes, 8 mono plus 6 stereo mixes or almost anything in between, whilst the 4 matrix mixes can be mono or stereo as needed. The bus and matrix mixes are complemented with four more mix busses dedicated to the internal Lexicon FX processors all in addition to the left, right and centre busses. Each bus mix features a compressor, 4 band EQ, BSS graphic EQ and delay always available all of the time. Output connectivity is comprehensive with all models featuring 16 balanced line outputs, headphone monitor out, AES out and of course the 64x64 option slot.
To complement the channel and bus processing all Si Expression consoles integrate four stereo Lexicon FX processors based on the MX400 providing a wealth of sounds, user adjustable parameters and dedicated tap-tempo keys. As the FX are hardware based, use of all the effects, even on the most demanding programmes does not affect other processing in any way and all dynamics, EQs, filters, delays, and GEQs remain available regardless what you are doing.
Flexible onboard and expansion I/O options ensure your Si Expression integrates effortlessly with other system components utilising any of the Si series option cards including AES, Firewire/USB/ADAT, AVIOM™, CobraNet™, BSS Digital Audio Bus (BLU Link), Dante™ CAT5 or optical MADI. The MADI card, as well as being an interface to multi-track recording systems or plug-in systems like Waves, enables linking the Si Performer to any of the Soundcraft or Studer stageboxes to extend the I/O power and flexibility. Adding a stagebox to an Si Expression actually increases the number of channels you can mix at once not just how many inputs you have available to choose from! It is said ‘Power is nothing without control’ and here the Si Expression excels with a comprehensive but 'simple to use' control surface incorporating a dedicated control for every parameter, a row of global mode encoders and colour touch screen ensuring operation is quick and easy.
As you would expect from any Soundcraft digital mixer the facilities are extensive and include legendary audio quality courtesy of the latest generation EMMA™ DSP processor, the same DSP platform that has helped propel previous Soundcraft Si series consoles to fame. Soundcraft 5056219 UI Series 16 Channel Digital Mixer With Wireless Control
The Ui Series mixers feature cross-platform compatibility with iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS, and Linux devices, and can use up to 10 control devices simultaneously. In addition, the Ui12 and Ui16 each feature built-in HARMAN signal processing from dbx, DigiTech and Lexicon, including dbx AFS2, DigiTech Amp Modeling, and more. Both models feature fully recallable and remote-controlled mic gain and phantom power, along with 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, compressor, de-esser and noise gate on input channels.
Both mixers offer 31-band graphic EQ, noise gate and compressor on all outputs, plus real-time frequency analyser (RTA) on inputs and outputs. Built in are three dedicated Lexicon FX busses: Reverb, Delay and Chorus. In addition, mixer controls include Subgroups, Mute groups and View groups, among others. The Ui Series mixers feature full Show/Snapshot recallability with channel recall safes. while security lockout features allow customization of device access to only specific functions and mixes if needed. Both mixers also offer independent network interfaces on board for simultaneous control by Wi-Fi and Ethernet, plus a floor-ready rugged chassis for live applications.
