The SUB 705-AS II is a compact and powerful bass reflex subwoofer. It is equipped with a 15” high power woofer with 3” voice coil, powered by a 1400 Watt digital amplifier in a robust plywood housing with deep and punchy tuning for a powerful bass. Thanks to the built-in digital stereo crossover (DSP) with adjustable crossover frequency, it can be easily and quickly set up with a satellite speaker. The SUB 705-AS II easily combines with 12” and 15”, ideal for RCF ART and D-Line Series.

Cabinet & mechanics
The RCF cabinets are made of birch plywood coated with a textured black finish. The subs are stackable and light-weight, for easy set-up and tear down, thanks to the ergonomic handles. A pole receptacle allows the use of the box in various configurations. The powder coated front grille integrates a special transparent-to-sound foam backing on the inside to further protect the transducers from dust.

The very compact size, no compromise transducers and a unique composite cabinet design make the HDL 10-A the perfect tool in many situations. Ideal in live sound reinforcement and reliable installed situations. The HDL 10-A is the ideal choice when line array performance is needed and a fast and easy set up is a must. The system is powered from a 1400 Watt Peak Power 2 way digital amplifier, sound is processed from a powerful DSP. The HDL 15-AS is the ideal flyable bass complement for the HDL 10-A array system.

The HDL 10-A is a true active and high power ready to use touring system equipped with a high efficiency Class-D amplifier that delivers superior SPL reducing energy requirement. With 2,100W of power, the NXL MK2 2-channel Class-D amplifier is 50% more powerful than previous models. NXL manages extreme sound pressure levels with an ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and very low power loss. NXL modules are energy-efficient so there's no need for a cooling fan - the amplifier is attached to a solid aluminum heat exchanger in the rear of the cabinet - with no moving parts. The input circuit features a new low distortion design with an advanced safety limiter, maintaining the true character of the input signal at all levels. All NXL amplifiers are designed according to EN62368-1 for maximum safety and house a Switch Mode Power Supply section with minimum weight.

Bass Motion Control
When searching for an extended bass with enhanced performance, RCF engineers found a way to remove the high-pass filter, replacing it with a forward-thinking approach. Introducing BMC (Bass Motion Control), the newly advanced woofer excursion management feature. The speaker equipped with BMC can handle the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity.

The BMC method works by creating a complete map of the dynamic behavior of the woofer, to generate a custom algorithm that only limits over-excursions. This gives total freedom of signal reproduction to the transducer. When high-pass filters normally protect the woofer motion from becoming destructive but change the phase behavior, the new BMC algorithm breaks conventional rules.
