Multiple Connections for Multimedia
Connect a mixer, audio interface, computer or mobile audio device to the system’s rear stereo RCA and 1/8" inputs. A front panel headphone jack mutes the speakers for private listening sessions. In addition, a 1/8" (3.5mm) output allows you to integrate a powered subwoofer with the MediaOne M50s to create a 2.1 system.

The original 5C Sound Cubes are known for always doing the job, but we couldn’t just stop there. We designed a proprietary 5.25” die cast, polished aluminum frame driver/cone assembly to exceed the performance of the originals.
The paper cone is custom designed & crafted using the finest New Zealand pulp with mica fibers added for lighter weight & rigidity. The cloth surround is made in Japan to exacting and uniform thickness. The Top Plate and T-Yoke of the driver are made of Sumitomo 1008 low-carbon steel, enabling the highest modeled flux density in the gap. The magnets are Y- 40 GRADE (MIL-SPEC) yielding a 43oz. high-power, low-distortion motor structure.
We designed the amp module from the ground up to be a true professional-grade amplifier. It incorporates “overkill” concepts in component selection as well as safety. The result is a “no-compromise” amp with robust headroom characteristics that will rival the performance of much higher priced studio rack mount amps.
Avantone Mixcube Actives are built with a dense MDF board, due to it’s low-resonance characteristics. The input posts are high-end, nickel plated and are dual-banana spaced on an aluminum terminal plate. The bottom of the cabinet has a 7mm thick neoprene pad to serve as a skid-resistant acoustic isolator.
Out of desk space to add more monitors to your rig? Maybe you need to set them up quickly, and on-location. Mixcubes have you covered: their base included a recessed, industry-standard 5/8”-27 mic stand mount. Just grab a spare mic stand, and you’re good to go!

Since Yamaha® discontinued the iconic NS10M, the supply of aftermarket components has become more and more expensive and less and less available. Avantone Pro has done an exact reverse engineering of the original drivers. Using our global resources and decade of experience in driver constructed, we have reproduced the components faithfully, while upgrading components for longer life, and updating materials to comply with environmental requirements.
The Low Frequency driver, AV10 MLF, is a near exact match from 20Hz to the crossover frequency. We have changed the cone design from a lapped seam to a single continuous press formed cone from the same supplier as the original. This allows a much higher level of quality control and consistency during the manufacturing process.
The AV10 MLF replacement driver is physically and dimensionally exactly the same as the original and is a “bolt in” hassle free install that require no changes to the cabinet in the installation process.

Avantone Pro, in conjunction with the expertise of legendary mixer Chris Lord-Alge, have designed the most faithful reproduction of the world’s most iconic studio monitor. Now everyone can mix on the monitors that define “the hitmaker sound”. A tremendous amount of design work and exacting detail have finally made the “white cone” monitors available to everyone!
We also created what the world has always asked for — an active-powered version: the CLA-10A!
Black box. White cone. High-range frequency. It’s not known as the world’s best — it’s known for the being the world’s best reference — the sound that creates hits.
Since the “white cone” studio monitor was discontinued, the supply of aftermarket components have become more and more expensive and less and less available. Avantone Pro has created a near exact recreation of the original drivers. Using our global resources and decade of experience in driver construction, we have reproduced the components faithfully, updating the materials to comply with modern environmental requirements.
The AV10-MHF tweeter dome went through a difficult engineering process to get the exact phenolic resin doping to match the original performance curve. The AV10-MLF woofer uses custom tooled mechanical parts that mirror the original. We worked closely with one of the original vendors of the original cone to get the exact same stiffness and weight. The only difference from the original is that we use a pressed cone as opposed to a lapped. This allows for tighter matching in every cone we build — meaning this is the first time matched pairs have been available!
Both replacement drivers are physically and dimensionally exactly the same as the originals and are “bolt in” hassle-free installation.

The paper cone is custom designed & crafted using the finest New Zealand pulp with mica fibers added for lighter weight & rigidity. The cloth surround is made in Japan to exacting and uniform thickness. The Top Plate and T-Yoke of the driver are made of Sumitomo 1008 low-carbon steel, enabling the highest modeled flux density in the gap. The magnets are Y- 40 GRADE (MIL-SPEC) yielding a 43oz. high-power, low-distortion motor structure.

We designed the amp module from the ground up to be a true professional-grade amplifier. It incorporates “overkill” concepts in component selection as well as safety. The result is a “no-compromise” amp with robust headroom characteristics that will rival the performance of much higher priced studio rack mount amps.
Avantone Mixcube Actives are built with a dense MDF board, due to it’s low-resonance characteristics. The input posts are high-end, nickel plated and are dual-banana spaced on an aluminum terminal plate. The bottom of the cabinet has a 7mm thick neoprene pad to serve as a skid-resistant acoustic isolator.
