All dLive MixRacks feature the same mix engine – 128 input channels and 64 mix outputs with a configurable 64-bus architecture, class-leading 0.7ms latency, and phase-aligned signal paths for maximum flexibility in all applications. They differ only in the number of onboard analogue I/O, redundancy options, and digital I/O card slots.
Class-Leading Audio
Sound quality is at the core of dLive, beginning with the MixRack. The acclaimed preamp design is optimised for transparency and clarity, while the unique Active PAD circuit ensures consistent performance regardless of the source. Together, they deliver the highest quality analogue signal to the MixRack’s XCVI processing core.
In the digital domain, the 96kHz signal path employs variable bit depth for optimal noise performance and precision, offering virtually infinite dynamic range with a 96-bit accumulator.
RackUltra FX – Next-Generation Effects
Powered by the new RackUltra FX card, this collection introduces 10 cutting-edge algorithms that rival the most advanced plug-ins available. It includes advanced vocal tools such as Vocal Shifter, Vocal Tuner, and Vocal Gridder for pitch correction and creative vocal shaping.
Beyond vocals, RackUltra FX offers Spaces Reverb Designer and Plate Reverb Designer for stunning reverb textures, a trio of Harmonisers for rich layering, and tone-shaping tools like Saturator and Amp+Cab Distortion. These professional-grade effects bring studio-quality versatility to live environments.
Everything I/O – Scalable Expansion
Expand your dLive system effortlessly with 96kHz I/O expanders available in multiple form factors to suit any setup. Each MixRack includes two DX ports, each supporting 32×32 channels of I/O expansion, with additional expansion available via optional gigaACE or DX Link cards. Setup is simple, with plug-and-play connectivity and ultra-low transport latency of just 8 samples.
Control – Surfaceless Mixing Options
Operate dLive with or without a Surface. The free dLive Director software provides full control on Mac or PC, while the dLive MixPad app for iPad offers wireless control from anywhere in the venue. Compact IP Controllers deliver tactile fader or rotary control when a smaller footprint is preferred.
